Product Warranty and Storage Practices

Warranty

Chavant will warranty its clay products in unopened packaging for 2 years from date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim. To initiate a warranty claim, contact the business where you purchased the clay. If packaging is damaged and clay is exposed to air, oxidation may occur resulting in the clay drying out, changing color and becoming hard. 'Damaged goods in transit' needs to be reported to your distributor within 5 business days of receipt of your order. If you think there is a manufacturing defect, please contact your distributor with your receipt to initiate a warranty claim with Chavant.

Best Storage Practices

Unopened - store Chavant clay unopened at room temperature away from sunlight or sources of UV.

Opened - over time, clay exposed to air will oxidize and the surface may eventually dry out. Once opened, place clay in airtight container or wrap completely in plastic wrap and store away from sunlight or sources of UV.
