Sculpture & Fine Art Clay
Fine Art Clays have been used by sculptors for over 100 years. Finished projects ranging in size from coins to heroic monuments are often sculpted in clay allowing final surface textures and details to be implemented and / or changed for indefinite periods of time. After the sculpture is considered complete traditional mold making and casting techniques allow for the creation of a permanent three dimensional piece of artwork. Note that the sculpture industry is not limited to the bronze world. Other Fine Art professionals using clay include sculptors who work in prosthetics, taxidermy, education, resin collectibles and museum presentations.
